The Méntrida-Toledo wine route: vineyards, castles and villages, without driving

The Méntrida-Toledo wine route, certified by Rutas del Vino de España, crosses the vineyards of the D.O. Méntrida between Toledo and the Gredos range: Fuensalida, Torrijos, Maqueda, Escalona, Méntrida and a dozen other villages. The castles of Maqueda and Escalona lie along the way. Wineries are visited by appointment, booked with each one; the car with a driver makes the stops and waits.
