Toledo in a day from Madrid: the car waits and takes you back to your hotel

The outbound leg is by high-speed train: from Atocha, little more than half an hour. At Toledo station the car and driver are waiting; they take you up to the old town, wait while you visit the city and, at the end of the day, drop you at your hotel or station in Madrid. No going back for the car, no watching the last train.

What is included

  • Eight hours of car with driver from Toledo high-speed station, with the wait in the old town inside the contracted time.
  • 10 % VAT included in the published amount.
  • Child seat on request, at no extra cost.
  • Route sheet issued before departure, with the driver's name and the number plate.

What is not included

  • —The outbound Madrid-Toledo high-speed train ticket: bought from Renfe; there are trains every half hour from Atocha.
  • —Tickets for the cathedral, Santo Tomé and the museums: they are paid on site and opening times change by season.
  • —An official guide. The driver drives; they are not a guide and we do not claim otherwise.
  • —Meals.

What could change the amount

  • Going beyond the eight contracted hours: each extra hour is charged at the tariff's hourly rate, and is agreed before it starts.
  • Night pickup (22:00-6:00), on a Sunday or a public holiday: the tariff surcharge applies and it is shown in the breakdown before you confirm.
  • Leaving Madrid by car instead of by train: in the Madrid region only partners with a Madrid licence pick up, and the booking assistant tells you when you choose a time whether there is room.

Why it ends in a different town

A Spanish VTC licence covers intercity transport: a service that starts and ends in the same town is reserved for licensed taxis. That is why we do not offer round trips back to the starting point, even though others sell them: better said here than refused at the end of the booking form.
