Leaving from Torrijos y el valle del Alberche

Between Toledo and Talavera, Torrijos, Fuensalida and La Puebla de Montalbán form a farming area, with Fuensalida's footwear industry, and Escalona overlooks the Alberche river. Public transport between these towns is thin, so a car is almost the only way to reach the hospital or the station.

Which way it goes

From Torrijos, Madrid is reached via the A-40 to the A-5 at Maqueda, or towards the A-42 through Fuensalida. Escalona has direct access to the A-5.

There is no direct train from Toledo province to Barajas: you have to change in Madrid, and in the early hours there is no way to do it. For first-thing flights, a car from home is the only option that does not involve sleeping in Madrid.

When demand peaks

• Long weekends and holidays (Easter, summer and Christmas): Transfers to Barajas from La Sagra and Toledo spike at the start and end of holidays, and first-thing flights are the first to fill up.

Tip: From La Sagra, for flights before nine, pickup is usually between five and six: the A-42 starts filling up early.

Airport pickup

For arrivals, the driver waits in the terminal with a name sign and helps with your luggage. We track the flight number, so a delay costs nothing extra within the terminal’s complimentary waiting time.

For early flights

We recommend leaving Fuensalida at least 105 minutes before you want to be at the check-in desk. We operate through the night, always with an advance booking.
